Geo was started by General Motors as a sub division of Chevrolet in 1989. The brand manufactured cars until 1997. The slogan of this company was “Get to know Geo”.  These vehicles were designed to compete with models imported from Asia. The main objective of this division was to manufacture reliable cars at affordable prices. Cars manufactured under this brand were affordable and were not known for their performance. However, these models have been known to have a lot of potential for improved performance.
